Updating crypto prices in Google Sheets made easy

If you're looking to keep up with the latest prices for cryptocurrencies in Google Sheets, there's a straightforward way to do it. All you need is a few simple tools and a little bit of familiarity with Google Sheets.

To get started, open Google Sheets and create a new column called "Cryptocurrency Price." In the "Value" column, type in the current price for each cryptocurrency. For example, if Bitcoin is currently worth $9,000, enter 9000 in the "Value" column.

Next, click on the "Data" tab and select "Import." On the "Import data" page, click on the "CSV" button and select the file you saved with the cryptocurrency prices. Google Sheets will now import the data and create a new column called "Cryptocurrency."

Now that the column is populated, you can use it to track the prices of different cryptocurrencies over time. To do this, simply click on the "Cryptocurrency" column and select the row corresponding to the cryptocurrency you want to focus on. Then, use the "Values" drop-down menu to select the date range you want to examine.

For example, if you want to see how the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin have changed over the last month, select "1 month" from the "Date range" drop-down menu. The table will now display the value for each cryptocurrency for each day in the month.
